True statistic. Kind of blows my mind, considering I remember conversations from high school where everyone would claim that, no, their hometown was the armpit of the state. Which, looking back, I suppose we were talking about the music each town was known for.

If this statistic was a movie, it would have to be either a coming-of-age tale or a tragedy-of-sorts. Suppose it all comes down to the conclusion you came to before staying within that fifty-mile marker.
