Surviving the World

Lesson #1139 - Backs

My wife was in a ridiculous accident this week, when a tree fell on her car as she was driving on the highway. The bumper was torn off, the front was smashed in, the windshield was shattered in front of her face, the airbag went off, and the entire inside of the car was coated in glass particles and bark. And she walked away with only a few small scratches that have already healed. Somehow.

That night I was brushing my teeth and tweaked my back.

I will never understand how the world works. But that was a trade-off I'm obviously willing to make.
