There's a long list of really great smells that are horribly bad for in some way or another. High on this list is gasoline and ethylene glycol. Ethylene glycol is better known as antifreeze, and apparently also tastes good, which is why so many wives are able to poison their husbands at dinner without the husbands realizing until it's too late.
