Lesson #1671 - Climate Change
Someone was discussing the blizzard last week with me, and used the beginning of the simile/metaphor above, then said, "The question is, will we build the boat in time?" To which I understood his point, and we continued talking, but in the back of my head, a voice kept shouting, "YES YES BUILD A BOAT THEN WE CAN GO INTO SPACE AND WOOOOOO" because apparently in the back of my head is a nine-year-old who desperately wants to become an astronaut. I do not know this child. Parents, please come to the customer service desk to claim your lost child.
I seem do a lot of climate change comics. Perhaps it is because once we finally upload ourselves into computers some 28 years from now so that we can live forever, our harddrives will melt and we'll all die anyway.
