Let it be known that we came up with the concept for this comic before Sarahthe posted her ruminations on the Ninja Turtles last week. She made a fair point - if you look at a turtle, no one in their right mind would think to mutate it and give it ninja weapons or fighting ability. In truth, though, the original concept behind the Ninja Turtles is a lot darker than most people know - the creators actually wanted to set up everything as much edgier - like the entire cartoon series should have been like the first and second movies.
