Lesson #2079 - Rooting For The Home Team

Last night's victory by UConn was a victory for cowtowns everywhere. As a proud native formerly from Connecticut - and the east side of the River, I'll have you know, the good side, not that west side that has all the population and income to support the rest of the state and produces the stereotypes that group in the rest of us - I was brimming with irrational pride. And hopefully, fingers crossed, may get to do so again tonight?

Anyway, this comic is dedicated to my sister, who like me growing up, had a number of negative comments about our backwards cowtown area but now might look upon it with some strange sort of fondness? Happy birthday, Hanna!
