Lesson #262 - Medicinal Breakthroughs

We would love to know Dr. Thomas Brunton's and Dr. William Murrell's thought processes when they decided to start experimenting to see about new heart treatments. Did an assistant say, "Hey, we've got these sticks of dynamite left over from the Anglo-Afghan War, should we go use it to clear out more spaces in the mines or develop an extreme form of cowtipping?" and then one of them responded, "No, wait, we'll use the basic elements of it to solve your fluctuating heart?"

Science is both bewildering and awesome at the same time.
