Lesson #2882 - Friends

Yesterday I joined a drink-and-draw before going to a MBMBAM live show, and I got to meet a bunch of other incredibly talented artists and creators - Carey Pietsch, Abby Howard, Kate Leth, Megan Brennan, and a bunch more - and then was fortunate enough to get a picture with all the McElroy brothers and a number of Smirl sisters - and I don't know, I'm very awkward in these situations because I am not good at meeting people who I think are incredibly talented! But I think we all know these feelings and situations and it's probably a good thing to get out of our comfort zone every now and then.

It'd be a lot easier if I could do the thing Travis recommended, just go full five-year-old and be able to go up and say "I want to be your friend!" but I am a large dude with large creepy eyes and will just remain grateful that people even invite me into the maze.
