Surviving the World
A Photocomic Education by Dante Shepherd
Lesson #3351 - For Yays And Nays
I got a huge grant proposal submitted today. I mean, huge. Really big. Absurdly big. So big that even though I think we could do great work with it and have a huge impact on STEM education, I'm also writing answers in the back of my brain to the inevitable questions that would get asked along the lines of 'WHAT' and 'REALLY' and 'HOW MUCH' so it's a weird achievement. That a ton of people said we should get funded is blowing my mind in itself, so, you know, we'll see what the hell actually happens.
Toss those happy emotions around with the weird emotions and then the incredible sadness about yet another deadly mass shooting that I don't even know how to talk about anymore when I try to address worldly context with my students, and stress in dealing with some other emergency situations, and dang it all this bottle is a little too spot on and I'm not sure it's a good thing to be downing right now
Anyway . . . I don't know how to end what I'm talking about here. Yeah. One of those days.
