Coming on the heels of yesterday's "Seasonings' Greetings" comic, I laid out a challenge for contributions to the theme - and boy, did a bunch of you come through in hilarious fashion. There were almost too many good ones, but here were my favorites that readers came up with along with two of my own (caution: look away if you hate puns):

"Rosemary Christmas!" "Here we come a-wasabi-ing." "Bah, nutmeg!" "Anise on earth! Good dill to men!" "Santa Claus is cumin to town." "God rest ye merry cinnamon." "Wa-cayenne in a winter wonderland." "I saw mommy kissing Safron Claus." "Ginger bell, ginger bell, ginger bell rock." And, of course, "Some parsley in a pear tree."

Truly, as one person put it, it really is "the most wonderful thyme of the year."
