Surviving the World
A Photocomic Education by Dante Shepherd
Lesson #802 - Living
Once you start literally killing people, then they have a right to complain. Until then, there are ways they can deal. Like cottonballs.

You may have noticed (if you overly scrutinize things like a what-are-the-differences-between-these-pictures game) that the sidebar has changed a little. That's right, there is now a STW store! There are two different shirt designs that I have spent some time working on, and from some STW comics you may recognize. The Happiness maze from Lesson #628:
And a baseball-style shirt based on Lesson #752:
And by the end of the week, there should be at least one more, and hopefully two. (One design has been about eight years in the making, in fact!)
Why did I start a STW store? For well over a year now, there have been people demanding STW merchandise. And while I understood the appeal of some of the requests (definitely not all of them), I didn't really need to monetize the site. I have always had a full-time job as a scientist, and that more than supported the insanely-cheap hosting the site had. But now with the server upgrade, having a store will help offset the costs, and (more importantly) will help me fund the first STW book, which I am crazily excited to put together.
I've never wanted donations and I refuse to put ads on the site, but having a store will help me to push STW in other directions I never expected to be possible. So if you feel like buying a shirt (maybe for the holidays?), that's awesome, and if you don't or can't, that's fine, too. STW will keep on running as long as I can make it go. But I think these shirt designs are pretty cool and I hope you think so, too.
(And for everyone who has been pleading for lab coats . . . the design is finished, but it won't be happening until early next year. Patience!)
