I really did use to keep that sawfish nose relatively near my bed as a kid, thinking I could use it to protect myself against the great evil forces such as wolves and spiders, not to mention spider wolves. In other words, I kind of hoped that the bogeyman would pass my room and head on down the hall to deal with my parents first.
