Lesson #937 - Teaching Evolution

As a scientist, I think about this type of idea a lot - not only how can I get people interested and supportive of the work I do, but also how can I make people understand it. Most of the time I'm pretty good at the second one, working comparisons and simpler terms into a frame that people get; the first part is a lot harder, mainly because people come into ideas and theories predisposed to opinions that already align within their views. And evolution certainly seems to be the big one, quickly deemed "controversial" even though there really shouldn't be anything controversial about it. So hey, let's work towards speeding up evolution so we create superheroes! Maybe that'll change a few minds a little quicker.
