Lesson #193 - The Quality of Movies
There are a good number of movies which can only be likened to lampreys. You're flipping through the TV channels, and all of a sudden you come across a movie that no matter what you do, you can't change the channel or get up and walk away from watching, as the movie lamprey attaches itself to your soul and sucks away all your free will to stop watching.
Sometimes this is OK, and you end up watching a great movie. Sometimes you even end up watching a movie in that fantastic, mystical range of 'pretty bad' movies that are actually incredibly enjoyable (Spring Break: Shark Attack is a wonderfully great bad movie, especially because of it's ridiculous implausibility).
Unfortunately, you can also get stuck watching a movie so bad, that not even the immortally great line of "Dude, I'll beat the dude out of you!" (at the 4:12 mark) can save how bad the movie is. You laugh at that one line of dialogue, and then spend the rest of the movie trying to rip your eyes out.
