You can argue if man is inherently good or if man is inherently evil. I'll stick to my perspective that man is inherently a potential idiot. And it's the challenge to overcome that potential idiocy that unites us, when everything else about our natures and nurtures may differ. Idiocy gives me great hope for us all!
