Lesson #3286 - God's Message

And now we have 6 months to fight to save DACA. So let's do what we can and save it.

I've said before that I'm Catholic, had Catholic schooling for 7 1/2 years, am raising my daughters Catholic, and would definitely not still be Catholic if it wasn't for a number of priests and religious people who delivered a message of acceptance and love that they made perfectly clear extended to LGBT. It'd be hard for me to stay in the Church if that message wasn't there. So I say this not to criticize the message itself. I say this to criticize those who dance around the message and try to dress themselves in the message and talk about the message but then essentially take a crap on the message when it comes time to put it into action for everyone.

It's a good message whether you're religious or not, but I trust the people who aren't religious to actually put that message into action far more readily then the people who cloak themselves in the message.
