Lesson #532 - Specialness

Well, I just wrote a long rant about the "coddled generation" and parenting and kindergarten teaching and smacking poorly disciplined kids, and had to delete it because of how unhinged it made me sound. Let me just say that the longer you let someone live under the idea that everyone is special, the harsher and more crushing the reality blow will be once they grow up and escape the influence of their parents or teachers. Don't do this to people if you truly care about them.
