Lesson #966 - Post-Rapture Thoughts

One thought occurred to me this week: it is stated in the Bible that no one will know when the Rapture is coming. So if anyone "knows" that the Rapture is coming on a certain day, then obviously it cannot come that day. So if mankind was to work out a rotation so that everyone knew that the Rapture was coming on a different day, the world could pretty much never end. And then we wouldn't have to go through one random guy's magic math scaring a bunch of people and probably ruining a bunch of lives in the process.

Look, I'm Catholic, but I find it really hard to believe that any non-scientific description of the world ending as being something we can all be sure about. Go ahead and dream of Rapture raptors roaming the countryside, but let's not let it overwhelm us. Can't we all just try to be decent people and not hurry the end up?
